This is a short video I made for the Adobe #MakeItBORNS contest. I was inspired by BORNS music, his other music videos, and his personal style, which are all wonderful. I'm really proud of this piece because I got to use my pressed flowers in a digital work. You can see the process in the photos below:
I scanned the pressed flowers onto my computer, using PhotoShop to cut out the flowers as well as old scientific illustrations of butterflies. I drew the face and scull, converted them to greyscale bitmapped images, and then I overlaid them on photos I took of a bonfire. I put all the elements together, and used the Frame Animation (Timeline) window in PhotoShop to create the stop animation. (2018)
